Last Updated: August 11, 2026

NH Tech Luck developed QR Code Scanner & Barcode Reader as a simple and easy-to-use application for scanning and generating QR codes and barcodes. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

The QR Code Scanner & Barcode Reader app does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or home address.

The app uses your device's camera when you choose to scan a QR code or barcode.

2. Camera Permission

The app requires Camera permission to scan QR codes and barcodes.

Camera access is used only for the scanning feature. We do not intentionally record, store, or upload camera images or videos to our servers.

You can manage or revoke camera permission at any time through your Android device settings.

3. QR Code and Barcode Scanning

The app can scan supported QR codes and barcodes and display the information contained in them.

Basic scanning functionality does not require an internet connection. Scanned information is processed to provide the requested functionality.

4. QR Code Generation

The app allows users to create QR codes containing information such as:

  • Text
  • Website links
  • WiFi information
  • Other supported information

The information entered by the user for QR code generation is used to create the QR code and is not intentionally uploaded to our servers.

5. Scan History

The app provides a scan history feature that allows users to access previously scanned results.

Scan history is intended to be stored locally on the user's device and is not intentionally transmitted to our servers.

6. Flashlight

The app may use the device flashlight when the user enables it for scanning in low-light conditions.

The flashlight is used only to assist with scanning.

7. Advertising – Google AdMob

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google AdMob may collect and process certain information, such as device information, advertising ID, IP address, and information related to interactions with advertisements.

This information may be used to provide, measure, and improve advertising. Depending on applicable settings and requirements, Google may provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

For more information about Google's privacy practices, please review Google's privacy policies.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent users' personal information.

Information that may be collected by third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob, is handled according to the respective third-party privacy policies.

We do not intentionally upload scanned QR/barcode information, camera images, or generated QR code data to our servers.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the application. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

11. Data Deletion

The app does not require an account, so there is no account information that users need to request us to delete.

Locally stored scan history can be deleted using the available options within the app or by uninstalling the application.

12. Third-Party Services

The app currently uses Google AdMob for advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy if additional third-party services are added to the application in the future.
